The Foundation promotes training and development of young and new talent through seminars, workshops and educational outreach programs aimed at high school students, as well as university coursework relevant to fashion and “Made in Italy” culture.  This unforgettable experience allows participants to gain a unique perspective into the largely unknown world of high artisanry. Training is organized into educational modules designed for costume designers as well as film, theatre and opera professionals. Annamode courses describe how to make set costumes – defining everything from how to dress an actor, to cutting and sewing a costume. As these techniques are passed down through generations, Annamode believes it imperative that they are preserved and transmitted to inspire future generations. Thus maintaining the uniqueness, quality and excellence in the textile industry that has defined Italy for centuries.
